Casa Grande Alliance – Casa Grande, AZ

CASA GRANDE ARIZONA

Just five days after an Above the Influence community partner summit held in Washington, DC, Cindy Schaider, executive director of Casa Grande Alliance, “fired up” her community to take part in the ATI movement. She engaged stakeholders and youth in her area to come together to be literal representatives of the ATI symbol. Using their bodies, all youth and stakeholders gathered on a large football field to make an outline of the ATI symbol – a large circle with an upwards-facing arrow in the center. The photo opportunity was a central part of an existing event – Casa Grande Anti-Crime Night. To accompany the group photo, Cindy drafted an article about her organization’s involvement in ATI and secured media coverage in a special section of the Casa Grande Valley Newspaper.

Youth in Casa Grande, AZ, pledged to stay above it at the Casa Grande Anti-Crime Night event.
